Emerging integrative healthcare models and technology advancements make this an exciting time for dentistry. Yet when coupled with an ever- changing regulatory landscape it creates new responsibilities and unknown risks. It’s easy to be overwhelmed by new acronyms, laws and regulations, when you would much rather be caring for patients.

Founded in 2014, the Institute for Dental Compliance and Risk Management (Institute) assists dental professionals to meet these changes and challenges. The Institute is dedicated to providing national certification for staff and leadership in order to promote proven compliance practices throughout dentistry. Three levels of advanced certification are offered for dental professionals who seek to expand their knowledge and skills in the areas of OSHA, HIPAA and Risk Management.

You can also become a member of the Institute enabling you to stay up-to-date on critical regulatory requirements impacting dentistry, elevate your overall compliance knowledge and connect with like-minded dental professionals. For more information, please click here.

In addition, the Institute elevates compliance standards by providing student education and credentials as well as ongoing learning and networking opportunities.
